Just FYI folks: Fancheck app is NOT a virus - see http://news.softpedia.com/news/Fan-Check-Developer-Rebuts-Malware-Claims-121319.shtml - The author of the mysterious "Fan Check" Facebook application, that was the subject of intense controversy during the past week, has stepped forth to defend his creation. The developer stresses that the application does not contain malware and Facebook confirms his claim.

I'm the author of eight books, president of two all-volunteer organizations that help online victims of cyberbullying, stalking and harassment, WHOA, and WHOA-KTD (Kids/Teen Division). I married a wonderful man, Chris, on June 7, 2008. We adopted a rescue sled dog, a Siberian Husky named Phoebe the week before Christmas 2008.
